Questions about this system

Does the air system have to be shut down?

Pressure sensors use existing tapping points. The flow meter depends on the type and the pipe run; we assess it on site and book a production break only if it is needed.

How accurate is the leak estimate?

It uses air volume and the hours the compressor runs while nothing is in production — the accepted approach in an air audit. It sizes the problem and its trend; finding each leak still needs someone walking the pipework.

Which compressor brands does it suit?

Any of them, measured externally — power, pressure and flow. Reading the machine's own controller depends on whether it offers Modbus or status contacts.

Does lowering the set pressure really save?

Lowering it reduces the energy used, but how much depends on the pressure the work actually needs — which the data shows before you decide. We do not recommend lowering it blind.
